Kopke Lagrima White Port

Kopke lagrima white port is a blend of wines from different harvests. They mature in stainless steel and wood for a minimum of 3 years. The result is a rich and aromatic wine, with the perfect level of sweetness.

  • A bright golden yellow colour
  • An intense and elegant nose, with aromas of tropical fruit intertwined with notes of vanilla and a hint of honey
  • Fresh, balanced and appealing
  • A sweet, well-balanced port

Pair Kopke lagrima white port with vanilla based desserts or an apricot sorbet.

Best served at a temperature between 8 to 10 degrees centigrade.

Store the wine in a cool and dry place, shelter from light and temperature fluctuations, and keep the bottle in an upright position. Over time, it is natural that sediment is formed at the bottom of a bottle of port wine

During harvest, picking by hand is at the optimum time, in addition to destemming and crushing. Eventually converting the wine through a process of careful maceration. Extracting their colour, tannins and aromas, enhanced by constant churning during fermentation.

This takes place in vats (lagares) at a controlled temperature until it reaches the right degree of sweetness (baum). Then finally introducing grape brandy to create the fortified wine.

Made by blending wines of different harvests that have maturated in stainless steel and wood for a minimum of 3 years, the result is a rich and aromatic wine, with the perfect level of sweetness.
