Kopke Fine Ruby Port

  • The colour of this port is deep ruby-red, with a garnet rim
  • Classic nose, where the vivacity of the young fruits converge in a delicate balance
  • This ruby port has a determined taste, vigorous, with aromas of fresh fruit and a long and harmonious finish

Enjoy the Kopke fine ruby port with a strawberry and yoghurt mousse, a red berry clafouti or a Camembert millefeuille with raspberries and rosemary. Best served at a temperature between 12 and 14ºC.

Store the wine in a cool and dry place. Shelter from light and temperature fluctuations, and keep the bottle in an upright position. Over time, it is natural that sediment forms at the bottom of a bottle of port wine.

Established in 1638 by Christiano Kopke and his son, Nicolau Kopke. They came to Portugal as representatives of the Hanseatic League. The House of Kopke is the eldest porto wine export firm.

In June 2006, the Sogevinus Group extends its influence throughout the port wine sector through the acquisition of C. N. Kopke. Nowadays Kopke is the oldest porto wine brand and assumes the leadership in the ‘Porto Colheita’ category.

Befitting their status as the oldest port house, their bottles are easily recognisable by their traditional and hand-stencilled style.
