Domaine Cauhape Symphonie De Novembre Jurancon Moelleux

  • Powerful and complex
  • The nose evokes dried and candied fruits coated with fine, toasty notes
  • On the palate, the ample and generous mouthfeel develops with vibrant notes of citrus fruits, yellow fruits and spice

As multitude of dishes pair well with Domaine Cauhape Symphonie De Novembre Jurancon Moelleux. Enjoy as an aperitif or with semi-cooked foie gras, fresh foie gras with apples and grapes, ewe's milk cheese, nougat dessert, tarte tatin, fruit sabayon.

Symphonie de Novembre is 100% petit manseng grapes left on the vines until November to concentrate the sugars. Petit Manseng has a high acidity which gives these sweet wines their beautiful balance and refreshing finish.

In 1970, owner, winemaker and label artist, Henri Ramonteu took over his family's cattle farm in Monein in southwest France. He sold the cattle, purchased four hectares of vines, and started Domaine Cauhape. The wines have the hallmark Jurancon which showcases the very best of what the Jurancon region has to offer.

The vineyards are south and south east facing and are up to 400 metres above sea level. This allows the grapes to ripen slowly which helps retain good levels of acidity.
