Dolin Chambery Vermouth Rouge

Recognised as the creator of Vermouth de Chambery. Dolin has cooked up the same recipes in the Alpine hills in Chambery since 1821.

  • Very pleasant nose of fruit compote, prune and walnut
  • Slightly grassy note, tempered by the spicy notes of cinnamon, vanilla and szechwan pepper
  • On the palate flavours of almond, citrus, pear and violet
  • This very rich bouquet is tempered by a subtle bitter base wine

30 to 40 spices and botanicals are in this famous Dolin Chambery Vermouth Rouge. Coriander, hyssop, rhubarb and curacao are just some of those in our closely-guarded secret recipe.

Serve this French vermouth as an aperitif on ice or a traditional before dinner drink. Can also be a tasty ingredient in many cocktails, such as the famed Negroni and Manhattan.

Dolin has long been the benchmark for fine vermouth and is one of the few remaining independent producers of vermouth.

They continue to make their authentic products according to the principles and recipes that made the Vermouth de Chambery famous in the first place.

This means the production in Chambery itself, the maceration of real plants rather than pre-prepared infusions, and the unique addition of sugar as opposed to other sweetening products.
